KICK OFF THE SUMMER RIGHT!
Ok, fellas, if you are NOT down the Vintage at the Vineyards in NC today, or you didn't make it to the Sharknose Meeting in The Netherlands, you might have some time on your hands this weekend. Well, we here at Baurspotting are always looking for ways to help put those idle hands to work on something interesting: here are some ideas to help you get into the spirit of the Summer season, which, in the US anyway, officially begins this weekend!
What better project for the First weekend of summer than: a BBQ built from your spare car parts!
YES, a CARbeque!! ;)
First we have this 1974 2002 BBQ model, posted by Carlos A.G. of El Salvador today in Facebook!
"This was a parts car, unable to be restored. I wanted to revive it, and the only way was as a grill."-----Carlos A. G.
Kudos, Carlos! ;)
But we have more!
According to the builder of this grill, here is all you need: "needed: old chassis with intact rear end, good angle grinder, a shopping cart, voila "
You don't get this stuff anywhere else, folks! ;)
Here is a look inside the grill.
There is a Roundel there..... see it? Not a lot of other car parts though. ;) I am told that the Roundel definitely improves the taste of anything grilled here!
A Bug Grill
Trucks work too!
Even Corvettes!
And that other German car, too! ;)
Motorcycle more your cup of tea?
The Carbeque! ;)
Ok, now, there is your inspiration. Now let's GET TO WORK, and get grillin'!
:)
