BMW 2002 BRAUR CABRIOLET RED NEW HOOD LOW MILES
"With under 60,500 original miles, old mots to prove from 88,89,91,92,93,94 & 97. I've owned this car for 20 years as part of a collection that has never been finished, thousands spent in the past years & recently fitted a Jamic brand new hood, recovered the roll bar repaired & recovered the Targa Top inc inside. 3 previous owners & dry stored since the early 90's. Work carried out in 97 (not used since as long term stored in 97) was as follows, new inner & outer sills, jacking point, floors pans & wings. Brakes refurbished & rebuilt, stainless steel centre exhaust fitted. Good points; Starts, drives & stops. Good engine/gear box & running gear. Car also comes with the original # plate HAS 886N (Has Been) if you like that sort of thing & some spares. The car has the rare & desired Alpina wheels (x 5 of) & 4x new tyres fitted along with a new battery & distributer cap. Bad bits; Boot floor needs replaced & the lower drivers side rear panel & arch (see photo) the 2 x door bottoms have gone (Drivers door is worse) these could have the bottom skinned but really needs 2 x new doors. Period fitted towbar.Bonnet has some rust (mostly inside the rim) but is repairable, various small patches of rust nothing through though. Bumper are pitted also & the outer stainless trims need replaced or removed as some owners do. The car is a restoration project & as such will need to be trailered away. I can help with transport if needed @ additional cost. Cash on collection. Great project for someone. Any further questions, please ask. Viewings welcome."
