Thanks to Baur Targa owner Mike P. in NC for the heads up on this eBay ad for Terry S's red Baur Cabrio Targa.  We have shown this car here in Baurspotting before, along with Terry's other Baur Targa, a white M2!

"Rare 1974 BMW 2002 Baur with Motronic ('84 318i) fuel injection.  Headers,  Big Brakes, Sway Bars, and Bilstein HD shocks, 5-speed Transmission, Kosei wheels.  This car runs fabulously in cold or hot conditions.  The fuel injection upgrade was done to improve performance AND reliability whilst still retaining a vintage look beneath the hood.  The braking and handling are qualities these cars are known for even BEFORE they are upgraded.  This car was recently seen in the Texas hill country in the company of several other 2002's including two other Baurs. The car performed perfectly over the three day event covering several hundred miles.  You can bid with confidence that this charmer will turn heads as you head across the country with the tops open and your hair in the wind."

Seller Notes:

“This car was originally Golf. (yellow) The maroonish repaint is imperfect and exposes some of the original color in various areas. The rear plastic window is in very good condition but there are a couple blemishes on the canvas top. The car is in mechanically excellent condition. Some rust exists on this car. The driver floor around the pedal box was the worst, the rusted area was cut out and a new panel was formed and welded into place. The photos should offer a comprehensive but in no way complete depiction of the condition of the car. There is no such thing as a rust free car and this one is no exception. Keep that in mind as you bid on this or any other vintage car.”
