1982 BMW 323i Baur

1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

Found! Cabrio Targa by Baur from Kultkarren in Europe

Yes, folks, another example of what a Small Baur World this is!

Back in May, 2014, we spotted this black Cabrio Targa by Baur on the Kultkarren page.  At that time we had no other info on the car.

Here is a link to our original post last May:

Today, on our thread in Facebook about Ed Ullom's two Baurs going to auction at Carlisle next month, Andreas N. posted that he also had a Baur for sale!  I asked him to post some pics and details, so that we could post it in Baurspotting for him, and he posted this pic:

I wasn't sure from this pic if it was a Cabrio Targa or a Voll Cabrio, so I asked him.  He responded with these pics:
Whoa!  This pic looked familiar to me, so I did a search of Baurspotting and.... BINGO!

Sure enough....that is the same Cabrio posted by Kultkarren 4 months ago!  Another unidentified Baur is .....  Found!  :)

Small Baur World Strikes Again!

This is really too much fun!

Andreas is asking:  13000,-€ Bj 73 for his Baur, and he states that it has an 1800 engine.

If you are interested in this Cabrio Targa, you can contact him through this thread:

Congratulations, Andreas, and welcome to Baurspotting!  Good luck with your sale!
