1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

1972 2002 Widebody Baur Cabrio Targa in Norway!

You may have seen this posted yesterday in Facebook by Hans W.  Thanks to our friend, Terje P., we have a link to more info on this Baur, from an ad that appeared in 2012.

Thank you Terje!

Here is the seller's description, translated by Google:

This is a rare Baur edition based on 1 February .

Original they were supplied with 4 cyl. engine, but this engine has been replaced with a 325i - 6syl . motor with a little trim components.

Change Engine 6 cyl. approved and listed in the vehicle with which it is widened from 160cm to 180cm . Norwegian reg . Car - 1972 model. Lack Lapp pr . today .

This car must / should be removed in molecules , and then rebuilt. It deserves your car .

So this is a long term project ( at least for me) and some money agrees to get it on care.

The wheels sticking " miles" outside screens , and it must be changed / adapted to new rim rings on the genuine BBS RS wheels.

It sits 285 / 40-15 tires in front and 345 / 35-15 rear tire ! This is not acceptable.
My plan was to get to either 285/40 round tack , everything. with 225 tires at the front.

This is a project for those who love this cool look and who have flair / chore and knowledge to complete the project.

Helvalsede screens in steel , and the conversion is done in a good way .

It has started something restuareringsarbeid the body (with epoxy ) .

Thank you, Terje! http://www.finn.no/finn/car/used/object?finnkode=35795353
