Here is a European BMW E21 323i Baur, Opal Green, fitted with the Desirable 5 Speed manual Transmission, M20 6 Cylinder Engine, and rare Limited Slip Differential, Black Leather Sport seats, Adjustable Lowered Spax Suspension, finished off with a set of Retro 15" MiM alloy wheel rims, Genuine Momo 3 Spoke Leather steering wheel.
I bought this 1982 BMW E21 323i from England this year and imported it over to Florida, It has a clear title with Florida DMV, It would be the same to title this car in your own state as it would with any Florida Titled car, However being from Europe it is not fitted with a catalytic converter or airbags, So you may need to check rules for smog test in your own state before bidding.
The car has covered 115,xxx miles, and has just been service replacing oil and filters, & Timing belt, Previous owner fitted new control arm bushes, and Front & Rear Brakes about 1 year ago, Set of New Spax adjustable Shocks and springs just fitted, It runs great, & is fitted with factory 2.3 lite fuel injected M20 Engine that was never available here in the States, and its mated to a 5 Speed manual Trans running through a rare LSD diff at the rear, Car is not fitted with factory air con which is usual due to the European mild climate, But who buys a convertible then wants to sit in the A/C?, Get the roof down and enjoy the summer :)
Inside the car is in great condition for 33 years old, The Leather Sport Seats are in Very good condition with just some small wear on drivers lower bolster, Rear seat is excellent, Carpets are in good order with no rips or tears, Fitted with an Momo Three Spoke leather steering wheel (none airbag) with Alpina Badge, all switch gear is working and in good condition, Sound system has also been Updated with a Alpine CD Player, Amplifier and uprated Speakers.
Outside the Opal Green paint is fair, Some age related marks, as expected from a 33 year old car, Small dent in front of hood from shipping, the car has had some paint and would benefit from a repaint to make mint, although as you can see from the pictures it looks very Nice, rear wheel arches, strut towers, windshield scuttle, floors doors are all solid without any major sign of rot, head lights are fitted with city lights and are crack free, Under the hood the engine bay is tidy & Engine dry, Being from Europe its fitted with the more attractive Euro bumpers, The suspension benefits from a set of New Spax front and rear Coil springs and shock absorber's, The car is sat on a set of 15" Period MiM alloy wheel rims in excellent Condition with 205/50/15 Tires, it also has a 5th MiM alloy wheel rim in the trunk, Roof is in good condition in full working order, the center panel can be removed and there is a storage rack in the trunk and the tonneau cover is also present.
The E21 runs Great, engine Pulls Strong and performs very well, with no untoward noise or fuss, Gear change is smooth, and the brakes stop the car nicely with good pedal feel, the suspension is smooth and composed, with no knocks or rattles, This car drives very well.
It is easy to see why the E21 is such a sought after car and has become a great classic every day driver, Its a simple and dependable car that's great fun to drive without all the fuss and gadgets that some modern cars including newer BMW's sometimes detract from the pleasure of actually driving a fun car.
