Check out the price differential for the 320i and 323i 'cabriolets' vs. the coupes! Those are Baurs, btw, or the South African-built versions, anyway. I assume the prices are in Rand, the SA currency. I am not sure what that converts to in US dollars or DM, circa 1983. But, as you can see, buyers paid a premium for the cabriolet. :)
