Dedicated to the BMW Baur TC1 (E21 1975-83) in particular, and Baur cabriolets in general. We hope to locate and identify all the BMW Baur TC1s in existence in the United States at the present time.
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

1986 BMW 325 TC Baur - $500 (Logan Square)
"1986 BMW TC Baur offered for sale I need this car gone in hopes of regaining my backyard. The car has been sitting for about 10 years it has no engine, no hood, the vehicle and interior are in horrible condition. The car has been taken over by squirrels, rodents and insects. These are the good things I have to say about it. It was my first car and quite the looker in its day but those days ,like my desire to fix this thing, are long gone...
The car is a rare TC Baur (Targa/Convertible) imported from Germany I am its 3rd owner there were , I beleive, only 2000 made that year. The condition lends itself as a parts car or to a mechnaiclaly inclined restorer with a bunch of time on his hands.
I have a clear title in hand and will not let the car go until it is signed over to the new owner.Be aware ,dont let the bad pictures fool you, its worse than what you see. The only good thing is that the rust is minimal to non existent.
The car is in my backyard with flat tires I will provide minimal assitance. If you are interested be prepared to handle the extraction on your own. You will need a tow truck, or suitable trailer with a winch or helpers. Email me if you are still interested. For the truly motivated buyer I may be able to get my hands on the original hood and engine block. I need this thing gone ,or my wife will have me living in it soon!!!!
