1983 Bmw 323i TC2 Baur white - $16999 Portland, OR!

Here is another Baur I found tonight on craigslist! 1983 323i in Portland, Oregon for $16,999! Whoa! I hope he gets it!

M Badge? The E30 M3 had the S14 4 cylinder engine, so this is a bit of a stretch. It does have an Mtech air dam, however.

Mint 1983 Bmw 323i tc baur with new targa too with correct German material. Car is a grey market car imported 25 years ago. I'm the third owner. Factory installed Mtech air dam and recall seats. Alpine stereo. New limited slip reared with aluminum m3 cover. Dyno tuned 161hp to the ground. I also have a spare motor. It's the early m20. E30 body style. Sad to see it go. No trades. Had car appraised a 10 years ago and was valued at 12k. Also has original hood and ultra light weight carbon fiber one.

Baur 4593 (of 4595!) for sale in Belgium!

Thanks to our friend and fellow Baur owner Charles Merlen for the heads up on this very special Baur listing! Although the ad itself is not very clear, we believe that this is Baur #4593 (of 4595), one of the last of the E21 Baurs built! We know the owner, and we are currently trying to confirm that this is indeed his baud for sale! It is located in Belgium, and it is a beauty!

BillinMN's1981 BMW 323i Baur - $7500!

This beautiful Baur belongs to our friend in Minnesota, Bill. (aka BillinMN in Bimmerforums.) We have featured it here in Baurspotting previously*. We are sorry to see him sell it, but someone is going to get a prize! I have a lot of pics of this car, including the restoration process! It is definitely worth a look! My apologies to Bill for the delay in getting this posted.

Due to lack of use it's time for my '81 Baur to find a home with someone capable of giving this car the TLC it needs.

If you're looking at this ad you're probably familiar with the e21 323 as well as the Baur derivative. It is by no means a show car but an excellent rust free "driver".

- California car. Clean MN title.
- 2.7 motor from an '88 Super Eta with an "e" to "i" conversion, bigger cam, supersprint header, Alpina chip. Very strong motor. Less than 2000 miles on it.
- limited slip diff.
- manual steering
- Bilstein Sport shocks/struts, HR springs. Lowered 2", rear camber compensators.
- 4 pot Volvo brakes up front, e30 in back. Bias control.
- leather Recaro's in decent shape. No major rips/tears but they do have normal wear. These are correct e21 Recaro's.
- all body and roof rubber replaced and in great condition.
- excellent roof/convertible canvas, professionally installed. Seals are all good.
- period correct Einke rims, not reproductions
- original 4 speed. If you're not freeway running it's a hoot with the 4 speed so I never put in a 5. 5 speed conversions are easily sourced from an M20 powered e28 or e30.
- Uber rare Hella grill with big/small lights.
- front spoiler in perfect condition, don't remember the brand, though.

About the only thing it could really use is new carpeting. Regular e21 carpeting will fit with a few modifications to the rear section.

I have not driven the car more than 20 miles/year for the past 4 or 5 years and it is starting to show. There's really nothing wrong that someone handy couldn't fix over the course of a few weekends. It runs, drives, stops and does what it's supposed to and is in no way unuseable.

This is a relatively rare car in overall very good condition. The price reflects the fact that it needs a little TLC. Please email with questions.

Thanks to Jordan Bailey for the heads up on this Baur project for sale in Hertfordshire, UK! We have been a little delayed in getting to this, so it may already be too late.

Time to sell my beloved E21 BAUR. Automatic, I have owned her for over 10 years, was a great car when it was on the road...The car needs attention.
When last started the water was gashing out from the rear of engine, possibly the cor plug has popped out. Accelerator pedal does not release back ( Spring issue )

* Great sound from the straight 6 engine when reved.

* Roof is in excellent condition, No Rips Or Tears & No Leaks (2 Section Roof being a Baur )

* Interior not bad, Recaro front seats slightly torn.

* Driver & passenger doors have slight rust appearing

* The E21 has had new side sills welded on.

* 13"Compomotive Deep Dish Alloy Wheels (205 width)
Also have the original BMW turbine alloy wheels.

* Chrome bumpers & trim looks great.

1985 323i BMW E30 Baur Project - Spotted for $3500 in North Carolina!

I found this Baur today while surfing Craigslist. It is located in the Charlotte, NC area. I have checked the International Baur Registry and Baur #3607 is NOT yet listed, so this qualifies as a NEW FIND! This is a project, according to the seller, so he may be a little over-optimistic on that price.

"This a rear (rare---- Ed.) car in that there are proberly less than 1500 left.I would not want to have this car junked or crushed. being an e30 car club member I picked up this car about 2 1/2 yrs ago had every intention to give it the needed attention but life got in the way and I have to part ways. this car is gonna need a lot of sheetmetal work due to rust. Surprisingly the shock towers are in good shape. Wanted to change the oil before starting it up but have not gotten to it. will have to be towed. I am very flexible on price due to car being rough but not looking to give it away. please do your research on the car before calling to waste my time. This is a restoration project."
