1982 BMW 323i Baur

1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

1984 BMW 323i Baur Grey Market - $7500 (Northern Liberties)

I found this Baur while surfing the internet tonight.  It was formerly in Ohio, apparently, and is now in Philly.  We  don't have the Baur number yet, so stay tuned.

Grey market with recent PA inspection.

-upgraded 17" Alpina wheels on summer tires w/ less than 5k Miles

-5 speed manual transmission

-good mechanical condition

-battery replaced 2 years ago

-new fuel pump

-Baur conversion which allows you to go from a coupe to convertible. If you need additional info about this, look it up online, please do not email with questions

-No rust. California car brought to OH by me in 2008, then to PA where it had been garages until recently.

-replaced chrome on rear bumper

-replaced clutch less than 10k mikes ago

-3" tear in soft top. Needs repair or installation of new German canvas OEM top which comes with the car

Car repainted prior to my purchase, typical blemishes, some areas of fish eggs

The car is far from perfect but could function as a daily driver or just a fun a Sunday car.
