Thanks to Ken Nam Phan for the heads up on a TC1 Baur* that was listed on Gumtree.  Unfortunately, by the time I got to look at it... it was SOLD!    But, scrolling down the page I found this TC2 listed fror sale!  So, thanks Ken!

The ad doesn't state which model this is, but the rear badging appears to show:  325e.

Small Baur World AGAIN! 1984 BMW 323i TC2 Baur in CA

Thanks to Tom D in bimmerforums for posting this classified ad from Hemmings Motor News!  This is Baur # B-40287.  It is listed in the International Baur Registry*.  The seller states: "It is one of 25 known in USA."  I am not sure what he means by that, because there are certainly many more than 25 E30 TC2 Baurs in the US.  I haven't done a head count recently, but there are at least 100 that Baurspotting knows of, and probably a lot more.  :)

E30 TC2 Baur Karosserie Build Number B-40287 Targa the TC-2 was 1400 total production made in Stuttgart from new 1984 323i BMW coupe.
It is CA titled, was smogged in 2013 and registered last year.
It has recent 2007 paint.
ALWAYS has been garaged, no rust at all anywhere!
No tears in leather or Leather Recaros or dash.
Has new tires and new Hartge Sport 15 wheels with new Hankook 195R5015's.
Leaks and burns no oil,
Rebuilt in Costa Mesa 45k miles ago at 150k (195k total less than 6.5k year since new).
Has ALL DOT and repair papers was DOT converted glass bumpers etc (has CA title) when imported,
Has one small dent (see pictures) and radio is nonop (as is driver electric mirror).
It is one of 25 known in USA,
Baur TC-2's are very well made from coupes, so much stiffer body than convertibles only M-3 type Targas ever made has Alpina steering wheel.

BMW E21 316 Baur + BBS/Kamei Kit/ Recaros in the UK

Here is another of the 5 Baurs I spotted on ebay UK today.  This is an E21 with a body kit.  


RARE BMW E21 316 Baur + BBS/Kamei Kit/ Recaro Interior (Minor TLC/Project)

Rare BMW E21 Baur - 316 Carb BMW E21 has been in lockup for last 3 years and sold due to owner losing space Was MOT'd few years previous before being parked up and sat in clean garage. I collected this, tested that it all drove fine (I had to replace Waterpump due to it standing for so long) and since then its been sat as I haven't got time to fully recommission and MOT. It requires few bits to finish, is solid but has been repaired in the past by previous owner.  Has period Kamei Rear Valance and Sideskirts with Genuine BBS Front Spoiler All Chromework is nice. Henna Red polishes up lovely. Doesn't really need any paintwork in my opinion! Hood is in good condition too, will benefit from clean and treatment and rear window is not ripped (was polished a few months back too) Interior is VERY nice, with Black Leather original Recaro Seats - albeit not immaculate as you'd expect with this age. Has Original Leather Tonneau Cover too No paperwork (does come with V5 etc in my name) but shows 79,XXX on clocks - i believe this to be genuine with only 5 owners and interior condition etc. This does require Minor TLC so please come and view with an expectation for there to be some jobs to finish. Overall a fantastic opportunity to buy a Minor TLC Project.
