Our friend Paul Wegweiser is taking the F- Bomb on an epic journey to the 100 Year BMW Celebration in Monterey CA this week! Baurspotting is helping to sponsor his trip, thereby earning this little treasured memento:
But wait! There's more! If the F-Bomb is not the most famous 2002 in America today, it probably WILL be by the end of this Monterey saga! Michelin is sponsoring a cross country road trip to Monterey, and they made a stop in Pittsburgh, stomping grounds of the F-Bomb! They did a little video session with some members of the local BMW CCA Allegheny Chapter, and Paul Wegweiser gets a plum featured spot! Check it out!
The F-Bomb presented by the F-Bomber (Paul Wegweiser) himself! This is a screen shot from the video above.
What?? You say you don't know anything about Paul and the F-Bomb?
We posted about Paul a couple of years ago, and you will find some essential info here, including an excerpt from Paul's blog where he tells the story of how ---and why!--- he acquired the F-Bomb. And pics too. ;) Check it out!
Here are a few pics to pique your interest!

And this may be part of the reason why I have an affinity for Paul and his car:
I acquired this rough little 1973 BMW 2002 a couple of years ago. Not pretty, but basically mechanically sound, and a blast to drive! TBone's Barebones Beater BMW! ;)
Although I don't think he's taking 'Route 66", Paul will be chronicling 'that California trip', and you can 'get hip to his timely tips' here:

Oh, did I mention Mischief Maker? I will just leave this here. ;) From the Vintage at the Vineyards May 2014.
