Peking to Paris 2013 - Car 69 Dirk & Alexandra

Arrived in one piece at the Dalai hotel in Inner Mongolia! Car handled the day very well. Other than checking the fluids, the tire pressure and the exhaust, there wasn't anything to do (...yet!)

If you haven't been following this story, you may wonder why we have it here in Baurspotting.  The reason is NOT just because it is one of the coolest happenings on the planet at the moment!  The real reason we are including it here is because it is one of the coolest happenings on the planet at the moment ----- THAT INVOLVES A FELLOW BAUR OWNER!    :)

Here are pictures of Dirk's two Baurs, taken in Florida where he resides when not crossing Asia (and half of the planet) in his 1958 Mercedes 219.
