1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

I just finished the paint and bodywork on it.Its a high quality paintjob,2 tone.
The base is an olive green and the top is sicilian olive.
One of a kind fiberglass flares.

Its built on a cobra tubular chassis.
Powered by a 5.0 Mustang GT motor,T5 5 speed transmission, and posi traction rear end(limited slip)
Engine is mounted behind the front axle, its a mid engine car.
It has power steering,power brakes.
New brake booster
New radiator, new upper and lower hoses
New plugs and wires
New electrical radiator fan with sensor.Turns on and off by himself
New waterpump
New clutch
New brakes
Coilover front suspension
Cold air intake

Wheels are 9" BBS in the front with 245 tires, rears are centerlines 13" wide with new radial slicks Mickey Thompson's.
I do have the other 2 bbs wheels for the rear.
Side pipes painted with high temp matte paint,70's style
New rubber molding around the front and rear windshield, doors and trunk.
Really nice period correct Recaro seats, leather not vinyl.
Custom dash, aftermarket gauges.Speedometer doesnt work,it stopped working after I wrapped it around a few times.Pegs out at 120 mph, would recommend installing one with 160 mph.The rest of the gauges work.
New battery,relocated to trunk.
Has no headliner,I can have one installed if buyer wants it.

Rear bumper was removed.Custom light bar mounted in place of front bumper.Holds 2 Cibie Oscar + driving lights. The Cibie lights work and they come with the covers.

The car is fast and has a lot of torque.I ordered new black roundel badges front and back, they will be included in the sale.
Clean title,registered as a 69 bmw 2002.

Take to work, car show or to the track. The car runs and drives great.
I prefer calls with any questions, but will answer all messages in a timely manner.
