Grilling for the Super Bowl.... and a Baur Connection! Who Saw THAT Coming! ;)

I am not a huge football fan, but... I AM a grilling fan!  So the Super Bowl is as good an excuse as any to get out to the grill!  There IS some Baur content here, folks.... wait for it!  ;)

Chicken thighs and drumsticks... corn on the cob!  And I am Old School all the way, btw!  I cook exclusively with wood chunks and logs, no briquettes or gas allowed!

Some shrimp cocktail to get things started.....

.... did I mention the Cabernet Sauvignon?

Ok, so we have made some progress with the shrimp.....  ;)

Did I mention the stuffed clams?  Delicious!

 Not a great pic but.... grilled corn on the cob, grilled chicken thighs and drumsticks (grilled outdoors in New England on February 1, 2015, btw!  I am hard-core!), baked potato.... and of course the shrimp cocktail with the stuffed clams.... and the Cabernet, and some Amoretto di Saronno.... and something about a football game.   Not exactly sure what that football stuff was all about, but I DID see Baur Lover Katy Perry on the screen for a few minutes!

Great excuse for grilling outdoors! Damn the torpedoes, it was great!  ;)
