Calling All Baurs!

OK, Baur owners!

Let's make this OUR event for 2012!  This is the 3rd year of The Vintage at Saratoga.  Let us make it a memorable one.

How many Baurs can we get together for this occasion?  We have seen as many as five (5) at The Vintage last month in Old Salem, NC.  What a beautiful setting that was for vintage cars!  Saratoga promises the same, as well as offering the Saratoga Auto Museum!

We now know that there are a number of Baurs in the New England/New York/Mid-Atlantic area.   This is not to mention that there are several others in the Philly/DC area.... and who knows how many may be lurking out there undetected that will show up on their own?


I have been in contact with most of the owners that we know of and.... if everything falls into place --- and the weather cooperates---- we certainly have the potential to beat the 5 that showed  last Memorial Day at the Vintage in Old Salem, NC!!

And.... we may have the strongest showing of E21 Baurs EVER in the US!

So.... I am putting out the call to ALL Baur owners in the East:  bring out your Baurs to Saratoga NY for the Vintage on July 14, 2012!

We want you all there:  1600 cabriolets, 2002 Targas, 2002 Voll Cabriolets, E21 TC1s, E30 TC2s---are there any E36 TC4s in the US?  Come one, come all!

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM – Lawn Show on the grounds of the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Gates open at 9:00 AM.

It should be a great show, and I am told the Saratoga Auto Museum is a great venue.  Rumor has it that there will be a BMW 507 on the field, and much more, of course!
