1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. I have to do something about those bumpers, too. :) I love this car! To see one of the reasons why, check my post "Score One For the Good Guys" on 6/26/2011.

1970 BMW 1602 Cabriolet Convertible - $24000 (Santa Monica)

Thanks to Mark S.:

1970 BMW 1602 Cabriolet Convertible - $24000 (Santa Monica)

"Super Rare 1970 BMW 1602 Cabriolet. There was only 1600 convertibles ever built. Only a handful remain.

This car is very sound mechanically. It drives and shifts well. No smoke or oil leaks.

It has new suspension, new front disk brakes and new ANSA sports exhaust.

The car has been upgraded with a 5 speed manual transmission.

I was told the engine is original to the car and was rebuilt a few years back.

The car has its original interior which is worn. The speedometer is not working. The top is in fair condition.

The car does have some rust issues which can be seen from the photographs.

It would make a great driver as is or is a great candidate for restoration."

Thanks, Mark!  And we look forward to seeing yours back out on the road soon, also!

We have seen some other red Cabrios out that way, but I am not sure that we have seen this one!
