If you are just joining Baurspotting, please check out our archives for the "Going Global" post back in February. We have been keeping track as Baurspotting spreads across the globe... Over 40 countries have logged on. !! We are happy to report that we have had views on all continents, with one exception: Where are the Baurspotters on Antarctica??? :). Ok, so there may not be that many Baurs on Antarctica...... YET!! None have been reported there so far. But you never know!
:)
If you haven't seen the beautiful Lapisblau example in the post "All the Baurs",.... March 29, 2011... please check it out now. I don't care for those chrome wheel well covers (they tend to trap moisture and hence encourage rust), but I hope to have my Baur look something like that some day!! Check the rest of them out too! Some really neat examples on there.
Anyway, a warm welcome to all who have joined us from all over the world, and we look forward to sharing our passion for these exciting and unique cars with even more enthusiasts around the globe! Despite our differences of race, creed, culture, geography, whatever.... We do share a love for an exhilarating drive in an open top car on a twisty road! Welcome All!! :)
Dedicated to the BMW Baur TC1 (E21 1975-83) in particular, and Baur cabriolets in general. We hope to locate and identify all the BMW Baur TC1s in existence in the United States at the present time.
