1982 BMW 323i Baur
Memorial Day 2010 First Drive 1982 323i BMW Baur Lapisblau M20 5 speed #4154 of 4595 made. The car was imported to California by Dietel Enterprises. I have since changed the wheels, installed the clear turn signal lenses, and I am in the process of installing a new cabriolet roof. Help! BMW 1600-2 Cabrio by Baur Latches Needed!

We have a request from a friend who is searching for latches for a 1600-2 cabrio.  Does any one have them?  The usual sources do not, he has already checked.  Suggestions?  

 Anyone have a spare set?  Does anyone have the latches that could be used as a model to have someone make them via 3D printing?  All ideas and thoughts are welcome!

    I have a 73 2002 and I sure would want to have at least one back up in case of failure. If same catch as mine be willing to chip in to costs to make.
