Terry Sayther's 1969 BMW 1600 Voll Cabrio For Sale!

Terry Sayther's 1969 BMW 1600 Full Cabriolet
In a post in Facebook today, Terry Sayther mentioned that he has a couple of cars for sale, including two Baurs;  a Cabrio Targa, and this 1600 Voll Cabrio.

Baurspotting has featured Terry Sayther's Baurs before, btw*.  We knew that Terry and Deb have two Cabrio Targas (the red one which we posted about today also, and a white "M2"--- see links below), but we did not know about this Voll Cabrio!

Terry's comments:
This car is a complete full convertible 1600. It is California titled, but has some rocker panel rust. Surprisingly, the rest of the car is solid—turn signal area, spare tire well, other notorious areas are pretty solid. Shock mounts front and rear look great.
We haven’t had time to work on this car, and don’t know much about the details. Engine and body numbers DO match.
Full convertibles are very rare—only about 1200 were made with the 1600cc engine, I believe. The odometer indicates 138k kilometers and it has been sitting for over 20 years. The engine supposedly runs. The car was originally white and now has bad red paint. Interior complete, but dash has cracks. Buy it now for $28k or near offer
Arrange for more information—email terndeb@saytherauto.com. Do NOT call to chat.
