1975 Cabrio Targa by Baur on Ebay Germany!

I found this on German ebay today:

1975 2002 Cabrio Targa by Baur!  A 'restoration  project', but not a bad starting point from what I can see!

For sale a rare BMW 2002 Baur is as Targa

2,300 pieces were produced by Baur Targa's and only a few have survived.

Unfortunately I have to separate myself from my because I lack the time to bring him into the street.

The Baur comes from the model year 1975, unfortunately, the KM-stand can not be determined exactly, because this is only five digits.

The vehicle has already been partially restored once, but not really "clean" and only appropriate. At the rear right wheel arch we clearly visible rust. Other places I can not rule. Is therefore sold as a restoration base or hobbyist car. The soft top has a small crack and the Targa roof would have to be revised. But there is unfortunately no longer the original 2.0L engine in the car. During the past winter, the brakes have fixed something, but you can push the car a little muscle power yet.

I'm still about 200km went by BMW with no problems last year. The original interior of the Baur models is installed. The front fascia is also the first. The car got its H-approval about 10 years ago and was turned off shortly afterwards. The letter is available!

I would like again to point out that this car needs a restoration and therefore not for nothing is offered as a "hobbyist car"!
A really nice project for the coming cold season.

Zum Verkauf steht ein seltener BMW 2002 Baur als Targa

Rund 2300 Stück wurden von den Baur Targa's produziert und nur wenige haben überlebt.

Leider muss ich mich von meinem trennen, da mir die Zeit fehlt, ihn auf die Straße zu bringen.

Der Baur stammt aus dem Modelljahr 1975 und leider ist der KM-Stand nicht genau zu bestimmen, weil dieser nur Fünfstellig ist. 

Das Fahrzeug wurde bereits einmal teilrestauriert, allerdings nicht wirklich "sauber" und nur zweckmäßig. Am hinteren rechten Radlauf haben wir deutlich sichtbaren Rost. Weitere Stellen kann ich nicht ausschließen. Wird deshalb auch als Restaurationsbasis bzw. Bastlerauto verkauft. Das Verdeck hat einen kleinen Riss und das Targadach müsste überarbeitet werden. Es befindet sich leider nicht mehr der originale 2.0L Motor im Auto. Während des vergangenen Winters haben sich die Bremsen etwas festgesetzt, allerdings kann man den Wagen mit etwas Muskelkraft noch schieben.

Ich bin letztes Jahr noch ca. 200km mit dem BMW ohne Probleme gefahren. Die Originale Innenausstattung der Baur-Modelle ist verbaut. Die Frontmaske ist auch noch die erste. Der Wagen bekam vor ca. 10 Jahren seine H-Zulassung und wurde kurz darauf abgestellt. Der Brief ist vorhanden!

Ich möchte nochmal ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen, dass dieses Auto eine Restauration benötigt und deshalb nicht umsonst als "Bastlerauto" angeboten wird!

Ein wirklich schönes Projekt für die kommende dunkle Jahreszeit.

Ernsthafte Interessenten können mich gerne alles zum BMW fragen und ggf. eine Besichtigung abklären ! Ich versuche alles so gut wie möglich zu beantworten.
