Some Gave All: 1600 Cabrio At The Wreckers

Rare and getting rarer!

Thanks to our friend Marco P. for sending us the link to this sad little item.  It is nearly unrecognizable, but it is, in fact, a 1600 Cabrio... or at least what is left of one.    :(

Our friend Hans W. noticed the name on the ID label "Moorkens".  He states:  "Moorkens Belgium.

 Moorkens used to have their own VIN numbers.  It's a special Cabrio."  

Perhaps that is where the roll bar came from, I don't know.

Sad, isn't it?  No engine and no interior.
