BMW E21 320/6 Rare 'Convertible' on UK Ebay

"hi the car was registered as a cabriolet in august 1982,i believe it was one of a few done by peters of paderborn i have not seen another one , i am not 100% sure hope this has helped you regards"

Thanks again to our friend and fellow Baur owner, Amine K., who sent us the link to this unusual E21 'convertible'.
BMW E21 320/6 Rare 'Convertible' on UK Ebay

Rare as in one-of-a-kind?

This is a strange vehicle.  It is not a Baur, although the removable top resembles one.  But if you look closely, that is not a full Baur-type targa roof.  The soft top looks a little loose---- not a nice tight fit.  With the rear side windows fitted to the soft top, it looks like the type of roof we have seen on a 1502 Lumma convertible.  Anyway, this looks like a custom conversion, perhaps a one-off.  Chop top.

We will try to get some more info on it, and post it here when we get it.

The interior of the car is showing small signs of wear and tear of a 32 year old car
