How many BMW Baur Cabrios left in the UK?

I am not quite sure how to interpret this info just yet, but I wanted to post it, in the hopes that others who understand it better than I, can perhaps help explain it to us.

UPDATE:  thanks to Taner Salih in Facebook.
Baurspotting: What is "SORN", for the benefit of those of us who don't speak the language.

Taner Salih SORN (Statutory Off Road Notification). Which means the car has been declared off the road and is no longer being driver so is exempt from paying road tax.

Thanks for the explanation, Taner!

  2. E21 and E30 Baurs have a Baur plate number located on the car, either in the engine compartment near the fuse box (E21), or in the left door jamb near the door hinge. South African-built E30 Baurs do not have the Baur number. Where are you located? Please email a pic of your car and I can help you identify it.
