1937 328 Restoration Videos: Black Horse Garage, Bridgeport CT

OK, boys and girls, you are in for a real treat here.  In a recent discussion on Facebook, the subject of a 1937 328 owned by Lothar Schuettler came up.  His 328 is considered the most original 328 in the world by BMW.  It is an absolutely stunning car, and has been a Best in Show winner at several prestigious Concours d"Elegance events.

Well, one thing led to another, and my friend, Lance Johnson shared some pics of another 1937 328 that he had seen undergoing restoration at Black Horse Garage in Bridgeport, CT.  Bridgeport is practically in our backyard here, so I was interested in learning more about both the garage itself, and, in particular, the restoration they did on that 1937 328.

I went looking to see if I could find any pics or videos of the project. What I found was a Mother Lode of videos on the project!   This isn't a Baur, so, technically, it is slightly off-topic for us here at Baurspotting.  But it is a beautiful video documentation of behind-the-scenes work that goes into restoring a classic car.  Wow!

I thought I would share it with you here.  I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!

Thanks to Lance Johnson for starting the whole conversation that led to this discovery, thanks to Black Horse Garage, and John Buonanno for posting this incredible series of videos!
